Paper on thermolytic salt published

Feb. 19, 2016
Ammonium hydrogen carbonate (NH4HCO3) is a salt that decomposes at temperatures above 40 - 45 °C, thus its' use in solutions for feeding a RED unit would allow their easy regeneration. Members of the RED Heat-to-Power consortium have investigated that option and have just published a paper on their experimental investigation of a RED system fed with NH4HCO3 solutions.
