Prototype visit

On behalf of the RED Heat to Power consortium, Fujifilm hosted the official RED Heat to Power public demonstration event on Tuesday 12th March 2019.
The attendees took a trip through the exciting innovation adventure that was led by a consortium of pioneering institutions and companies in Europe. We have applied the latest scientific developments in membranes and in thermal separation technologies for a new technology that converts low-grade heat to power.
During the workshop the innovative technology developed in the project was presented and the participants got a guided tour of the first operating prototype in the world that uses industrial waste heat and converts it to electricity through reverse electrodialysis.
